Mr. Tran has over 20 years of rich and diverse software
industry experience and leadership that includes providing enterprise
solutions to Fortune 500 and government clients such as Plateau Systems, Litton-PRC, Northrop
Grumman, US Postal Service, and UUNET.
In 2000, Mr. Tran founded and operated S Internet Inc, a VA-based software firm providing top-tier enterprise J2EE solutions used in many market sectors including eCommerce, Learning Management System (LMS), and eBanking, eContent.
Mr. Tran's management expertise is re-enforced by his extensive hands-on technical experience in most phases of the software development lifecycle. At his most recent engagement with a #1 rated LMS vendor, he was instrumental in an aggressive effort to secure resources and team-leadership to port a 2-tier Windows-based application into a top-rated J2EE enterprise LMS application in an impressively short timeframe.
His vision, leadership and technical acumen have resulted in elegantly designed enterprise solutions that are currently serving millions of users in many diverse industries. Solutions resulting from his leadership are always, in the minds of performance-driven CIOs, interoperable, extensible, scaleable and fruitful in their ROI. One such award winning solution currently supports 1,000,000 users; this single implementation has a roll-out plan to support 8,000,000 users in 2 years.
Mr. Tran holds two (2) B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineer and Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude).
Mr. Tran is married, a father of four children, and now lives in Northern Virginia. He loves fishing and playing guitar.
